Clave Verde are houses to relax in and enjoy life. They are an invitation to commune with nature in a beautiful and peaceful environment.
Clave Verde lies between El Limon and Portillo, in a place called La Barbacoa. It is 7kms from Las Terrenas itself, 3kms from Portillo (airport) and only 35 minutes from Samaná. The roads to Las Terrenas and Samaná are excellent. The nearest, beautiful, beach is 5 minutes away by vehicle, about 2 kms. In 10 minutes you can get to half a dozen different beaches.
The houses themselves are in a kind of elegantly rustic style, where nature is the centre piece. They are very Caribbean, combining local materials with attractive modern features. This small complex, 4 houses, pool, gym, kids indoor and outdoor play areas, occupies 10,500 square metres. Every unit has hot water, a well equipped kitchen, sheets and towels provided and internet access. The electricity is mainly produced from solar energy, so we ask our guests to be disciplined in their use of energy to help us minimize our environmental footprint.
