Las Terrenas is located on a long sandy coastline, interrupted only by small mangroves and rocky areas. By the presence of numerous beautiful beaches with white sand and clear waters, the small fishing village has become a small tourist town.

Las Terrenas is located on a long sandy coastline, interrupted only by small mangroves and rocky areas. By the presence of numerous beautiful beaches with white sand and clear waters, the small fishing village has become a small tourist town. In addition to the old Las Terrenas, with the main street, the town stretches for about three kilometers along the edge of the beaches, continuing till Playa Bonita.

The region has the infrastructure required for Caribbean tourism, with different offers and a great nightlife. Besides all inclusive hotels, Las Terrenas is populated by a vast number of small hotels, guesthouses and luxury second homes.

The town has a range of dining options thanks to some 40 small restaurants of international specialties. French, Basque, Japanese, Italian, among others are some of the possibilities offered in this area.

Las Terrenas stand out as having sufficient stretches of beach to its tourists, characterized by calm and idyllic views, such as Playa Bonita, Cosón or Bobilanza.
